Reviewing the Halloween Outfits

 Hello!

So if you've been playing Woozworld recently, you've probably noticed that there's been eight new halloween-themed outfits! (Since October began!)  and i've decided to rate the second week of Halloween outfits! So let's begin!

Queen of the Night Outfit

Hair - 7/10

Face - 7/10

Torso - 8.5/10

Bottoms - 8/10

Shoes -  6.5/10

Overall rating - 7.4/10

I just want to say, this outfit is so elegant! What caught my immediate attention was the dress, I love the sleeves, the chiffon appearance and I think it was good that Woozworld included the skirt as the identical bottom-half of the dress (so it can be put with other short tops, to create that 'dress' look.) Also the robe behind the dress is a great detail.

I rated the hair lower because, i'm not a huge fan of the crown. I think the pointed spikes are awesome, but the back of the crown looks, kinda unusual to me. Also, I rated the face lower because, the eye pupils look distorted (probably part of the spooky look) and i'm not a fan of the nose. The shoes are cute, but would have been better as standard heels, rather than boot heels. Again, just my opinion, but I really like how much detail WzW put into this outfit!

Futura Outfit

Hair - 6/10

Face - 7/10

Torso - 7/10

Bottoms - 7/10

Shoes - 6/10

Overall Rating - 6.6/10

I rated this outfit lower overall because, it reminds me of the Bumblebot outfit that was released in last year's halloween, but I can't really blame Woozworld for releasing another Sci-Fi-themed outfit, because they are really cool! The hair could have been longer, or had an accessory could have been added to match the theme more...but i'm happy it's ombre! The face is unique, I like that.

I do think the torso, bottoms and boots matches more to the sci-fi theme, than the face and hair. I'm not that impressed with the boots though, there's so many boots that look like this now on the game. Overall, this is a cool sci-fi outfit, but lacks some extra, unique details.

Sun King Outfit

Hair - 5/10

Face - 6/10

Torso - 8/10

Bottoms - 4/10

Shoes - 8/10

Accessory - 8/10

Overall Rating - 6.5/10

Okay, so i'm really happy that Woozworld made this kind of outfit, but since it's a SUN KING outfit, I thought some parts of the outfit would have been more...GLORIOUS. The gold parts of this outfit are cool, but the crown should have fancier, I can understand that Woozworld is trying to make it look more unique but...I just don't really feel like it looks royal. Like since the outfit has alot of gold in it, wouldn't it make more since to put a GOLD crown in? Plus the haircut is odd, but I love ombre.

I do like the draped robe, but it doesn't really match the jacket..the details are really cool though. Also, the accessory was a really nice touch to this outfit! The shoes are awesome, I love sparkly things. The trousers though...pretty disappointing...they are so plain, could have put gold-laced pockets, or some detail to make them more interesting, after all it's part of the SUN KING outfit.

Destrozado Outfit

Head - 8/10

Body - 9/10

Bottoms - 8/10

Feet - 8/10

Overall Rating - 8/10

Okay this outfit SCREAMS halloween, it's terrifying. I love the details, especially in the body...that's really gruesome haha! The teeth are fascinating, I like how they are shaped and from the mouth the torso, they increase in size and...bend?? I think the feet could have been more like the hands, but overall: this outfit is horrifying and fits the halloween-theme very well.

I made a Streetz Unit!

 Hello!

So earlier this year the Streetz furniture range came out in Shopz and I actually bought it during the 50% off sale, before it was removed. However, I never got round to making a Streetz unit, well...until now!

So to match the Comic Book Store unit I made last week, I used the same color code scheme and attempted to make a cute-looking Streetz unit.

I uploaded a video to my Youtube channel of how I made the unit! (Timelapse...well kinda lol)

Overall, I am kinda happy the way it turned out...but it took ages to decide over the layout and I also messed up the clips of when I was recording the timelapse...because I kept changing my mind over where furniture should have gone in the unit. I think the Comic Book Store unit was easier to create because, it mostly involved just putting in the Comicz furniture and then some extra furniture for detail...whereas the Streetz unit required alot more 'extra' furniture to fill the space avaliable.

Cortoza's Revamp Begins! + Storyline

 Hello! It's October 1st!

So if you're aware of the four nationz of Woozworld: Lib Street, Cortoza, Colony V and Mystic Alley, then you'll notice that Cortoza has become the 3rd of the 4 nationz to get a modern makeover update! Sadly the old Cortoza unitz seem to be closed now.

Woozworld has added two new Cortoza units with the makeover, both named Cortoza Canal! Here's screenshots of me in both unitz.

I love this makeover! The furniture theme and color scheme really match to a more updated Cortoza look, without sucking the essence out of the Nation's spirit (unlike dreary Lib Street...) and what's also intriguing me is the post made about Cortoza on the Woozworld Blog!

I think this is a great extension of the story behind Cortoza! I'm looking forward to the discoveries we'll be able to make and also the kind of clothing and furniture items we can collect, to design our own Cortoza-inspired unitz! I'm excited if we get the ability to fly, be invisible and use night-vision goggles to explore Cortoza further...to find out it's secrets!

Honestly, i'm a bit sad that Cortoza's old look is gone, but I also felt the same way when Lib Street and Mystic Alley got revamped over the last few years too. I wasn't really there during the moment those nationz got a makeover, but I remember that Woozworld kept with those looks for 10 years, just making very few tweaks (extra nation-themed unitz, more furniture, rearrangement of some furniture) and now Colony V is the only nation that hasn't had a serious revamp makeover yet!

Since the Cortoza Canal unitz are the only avaliable new Cortoza unitz at the moment, i'll make sure to make a follow-on post, when the other new Cortoza units are added!

Thanks for reading.

Wacky Wednesday: Make a Farm Unit!

Hello, so it's the last day of September!

Also, it's Wacky Wednesday on Woozworld and today's theme is: Farm Furniture!

It's awesome to see that grass tiles are back (people always want those haha) and also there's quite alot of furniture under 100 wooz too, so you could make a farm unit with a relatively low budget. It would have been nice if there was a few more pieces of furniture with beex-option avaliable though.

So are you going to design a farm unit?

I made a Comic Book Store!

Hello!

So today, I finally decided to make a Comic Book Store unit on Woozworld. I suddenly wanted to yesterday, after seeing that there was Comicz furniture on sale in the School category in Shopz. So I bought some of the comic shelving furniture, as it was only 38 wooz each and began to create the unit!

I started out with the superheroe cut-outs from the Woozband, which are collector's items...but I actually removed them after. Despite that I bought the large comicz unit, I just couldn't find the right placement of where I wanted the cutouts to go.

I think I spent like 2 hours making the unit and recorded it, speeded it up by 600x-700x times and then put it into a timelapse video. Check it out below (the video is less than 3 minutes haha)

I used one of the color codes that I started wearing as clothing last month, for the color scheme of the comic book store too! This includes a light green color (#A2FFC1) and a light rose pink (#F6ABC2) I thought this would be more fun and bright, but not the typical light pink and white cc I normally use.

Overall, I think the unit turned out great and my unit decorating skills are definitely improving!
