Hello, so it's the last day of September!
Also, it's Wacky Wednesday on Woozworld and today's theme is: Farm Furniture!
It's awesome to see that grass tiles are back (people always want those haha) and also there's quite alot of furniture under 100 wooz too, so you could make a farm unit with a relatively low budget. It would have been nice if there was a few more pieces of furniture with beex-option avaliable though.

So today, I finally decided to make a Comic Book Store unit on Woozworld. I suddenly wanted to yesterday, after seeing that there was Comicz furniture on sale in the School category in Shopz. So I bought some of the comic shelving furniture, as it was only 38 wooz each and began to create the unit!
I started out with the superheroe cut-outs from the Woozband, which are collector's items...but I actually removed them after. Despite that I bought the large comicz unit, I just couldn't find the right placement of where I wanted the cutouts to go.
I think I spent like 2 hours making the unit and recorded it, speeded it up by 600x-700x times and then put it into a timelapse video. Check it out below (the video is less than 3 minutes haha)
Overall, I think the unit turned out great and my unit decorating skills are definitely improving!

Today (27th September 2020) marks 10 years since I first joined Woozworld in 2010! My first user is called VoiletSwirl107 (yes, misspelt like CholeRocks haha) and she is the first of my four users created 27/09/2010. I later made pearlywhite33, AshleighSuperSt and CholeRocks on 25/10/2010.

So how did I find Woozworld?
I was playing another social MMO virtual world game at the time called: Dizzywood!
At the time, I had only been playing Dizzywood for about...a year? I believe I joined that game in 2009 and I loved Dizzywood very much. The adventure concept and details of the game were brilliant, even if the flash graphics of the time weren't as polished as nowadays. Dizzywood was a very fun game, perfect for kids and young teens alike, because there was so much to explore and lots of customisation options in the game.
My favourite place was Tanglevine Jungle, I loved the critters and changing my hairstyle too!
Sadly all good things come to an end. Unlike Woozworld, Dizzywood only lasted just over 3 years (November 2007 to January 2011) and I stayed up to enjoy the game during it's last hours.
Sorry, back to how I joined Woozworld! Four months before Dizzywood closed, I was playing the game as usual and on the right side of the website was an ad for Woozworld. It displayed an animation of spellz being casted on a woozen and different woozens you could choose to customize from.
At the time, I was only 9 and had many incidents of accidentally clicking ads and installing some type of malware to our family PC. So I asked my brother to see if it was legitimate for me to join. We checked it out and he said it seemed fine. So I went ahead and joined Woozworld!
My early years on Woozworld consisted of me trying to make beex, I mostly bought cheap beex items from WoozMart and whatever I could find in people's shops. I really enjoyed clicking collectiblez (like the soggy cat, the broken robot and the inflated frog haha) to earn beex and also casting spellz! Eating foodz was pretty fun and I collected quite alot of food podz and plantz!
Although the basic, choice, premium and luxury tier in woozworld items was cool, I found it hard getting higher tier items as...well I didn't have wooz! But I kept going and did manage to get some of those items. I did get tricked/scammed and lost some higher-tier items when I was younger and sadly even went to fraudulent methods myself to get wooz and items. I was desperate as a kid to make wooz!
Another part of Woozworld that I loved was, the events! The woozteam tried really hard over the years doing many different events each year. Some of my favourites are: the Zombiz event in 2011, Arctic Fest (2012 & 2013) Woozworld's Next Superstar (2014-2016) Vampirz Vs Werewolvez (Mya vs Zeena to be honest haha) and Woozworld's Next Top Model in 2014.
Those eventz are my favourites, mainly because of the outfits & furniture released during the event, or the achievements and titles were fun to acquire....or both!! WNTM 2014 had the best titles!!
I'll make another post reminicising my favourite times on Woozworld, or maybe dedicated a page to it.

If you saw my recent post about the Woozworld Flash update, then you'll know that Woozworld released a post on the Woozworld blog about the features which will be hidden or removed, during the run of the Woozworld 10 Beta program and a poll asking woozens to vote on the features they want to see return.
I made a video showcasing my profile (achievements, closet, inventory, some of my unitz) and also some of the Woozworld features right now. In the video below I talk about plantz, mystery gifts, bookz, spellz, spell jobs, foodz and gourmet. Apart from gourmet, alot of these other features won't be avaliable during the Beta and even so, will probably be changed when it's brought back in the future.

So I haven't really posted much in September and I thought, why not mention Wacky Wednesday?! Plus, this week's WW seems pretty...decent! So let's see it shall we?
This week's Wacky Wednesday is...faces with heterochromic eyes and instant camera accessories!
I'm pretty sure these items were rare (mostly the instant camera hand accessories) before they were added to Wacky Wednesday, so make sure to grab what you want over the next two days! I really like the instant cameras, I wanted one for a while...but I wish there were more colors for it.

Will I buy these items though? Maybe...just one camera probably and I have enough faces, so I probably won't buy a heterochomia face as I think they are quite expensive, but they look rad!

As you can see from the title, Woozworld announced that they would be hiding old Woozworld features (removing a few technically) as we move from Woozworld's website (using Adobe Flash - which ends support on all browser in December 2019) to the official version of Woozworld Desktop!

Since last year Woozworld has allowed older woozens (member since 5 years+ I think?) to become Beta Testers for the Woozworld Beta program, which is basically the early version of Woozworld Desktop, a downloadable program to play Woozworld on your laptop or PC.
Woozworld only mentioned Woozworld Beta a few times on their blog, with the ONLY official link (www.woozworld.com/download) probably because not many people were applicable for being beta testers or maybe the Woozteam just wanted a small amount of testers for the program.
I've played Woozworld Beta a few times since it's release last year. I submitted feedback through the forms offered at the top-left corner of the program (once you've logged in.) The program ran fine for me, but I noticed the earlier bugs were resolution issues, logging in and also not all items appearing.
Alot of bugs have been fixed, but I noticed that plantz (the memory game - pairs) didn't work and I think it's because the minigame uses flash. So at the moment, i'm still playing on Woozworld web, before plantz are deactivated.
Also, I still see that some newer clothing and furniture isn't visible on beta, but that's very few items...well from what I could see in my inventory.
Overall, Woozworld Beta is pretty much like the website...except some older features don't work (plantz and keys etc.) I like that the loading time and opening of shop podz is slightly faster.
Clearing up confusion with the Woozworld Flash Update Post
So I misunderstood the post many times. Then realized Woozworld is:
- Hiding these features listed in the post, mainly because they aren't avaliable on the Woozworld mobile app...even though WzW had six years to at least implement a few features haha.
- These features probably use Adobe Flash, which discontinues in December and therefore, these features will probably be changed, to work in the full version of Woozworld Desktop and I guess the mobile app too?
- Bookshelves, MovZ-it and Decorative Xmas Tree will just become non-functional objects, so just for display purposes, rather than working how they did.
- Woozworld 10 Beta will be the next step, it'll be a more fuller-version than the current Woozworld Beta program and more woozens will be able to beta test it (I think?)
Woozworld is running a Poll, asking Woozens what features from the post above they would like to see return first to the new Woozworld 10 program. I think this poll ends in 2 weeks, so go and answer!
